2022 has been one of the most memorable years of my life. There were some very exciting days and some very sad ones.
Over the next few blogs, I’m going to take you through the Summer of 2022. The year things changed.
Big decisions were made. My schooling was completed and the Warrior’s made plans for new adventures. And of course, what happened at the Love Shack this season.
So much happened in twelve weeks that it will probably take twelve blogs just to cover it.
In the meantime. It’s Thanksgiving Weekend here in Canada and as usual, the Warriors will be together on the homefront.
The Love Shack was closed up by the Warriors last weekend. The same people who opened its door on the very first day we bought it, were there to lock the door.
As we drove home last Sunday, I had one thought, how blessed we are to have such an amazing group of people in our lives. Their love, loyalty, and friendship are what keep our group a family.
The Warriors are special people. But they are not different than other human beings. They are imperfect. They make mistakes, say the wrong things, and choose to live their lives the way they please. But when it comes to our family of Warriors, they stand loyal to each other, forgive mistakes, and accept changes and our differences.
The respect and love that we see in each of them is the reason we all get out of bed in the middle of the night when one of us needs them. They are the reason when one of us is sick or something is not right in the other’s life that we come together. The Warriors choose to be a family and that is what makes them special. They are the reason that we are thankful for this holiday weekend.
From Our family to yours, we wish you a Happy Thanksgiving.
The Warriors

Sadly I have mi9ssed mamy of the posts mainly through ill health ( not mine) and the lack of any extended family to assist. However, I hope to be able to keep up with the next posts and I look forward to reading them

I’m sorry to hear about your difficult time. The next few weeks will have many posts. This year was filled with many things to write about and we too had some hard times this year, so I completely understand.
