Tomato, Cabbage, and Vegetable Soup

This weeks Make it Cheaper/Make it better, is a fresh Cabbage and Tomato Vegetable Soup.

Can I hear a hello from those on Weight Watchers or the Keto’s diet? This one is for you.

I’m a soup lover. And once upon a time, I used to love Campbells Vegetable Soup, until they changed the recipe and destroyed my love of their soups. Once this happened I had to learn to make my own soups.

This recipe is a Ketos safe recipe, and with a minor adaptation of switching out the olive oil for cooking spray anyone on Weight Watchers can eat this soup and it will have a Zero Points count.

For me, its a just a darn good healthy soup that takes minutes to cook and is fresh. It can also be frozen and taken for with lunches and it travels well for the Cottage Road Trip too.

  1. Looks great. I love cabbage in my soup. I make a soup along the same line as this one. I add white northern beans and sometimes I throw in a hambone for extra flavor. Of course, the ham will add points for the WW crowd. But absolutely delicious.
